Good to Know

  • The Belem Tower visit is an option able to be chosen for an extra payment.
  • Bringing umbrellas and sunscreen is highly recommended, as Lisbon tends to get quite warm on most summer days.
  • The afternoon boat tour departure check-in is at 1:45 p.m.; the sunset boat tour departure check-in is at 6:45 p.m.
  • There are no lockers available at the monastery, and the suppliers do not provide a place to store luggage.
  • The Church of Santa Maria de Belém is closed for Sunday morning mass. You can visit the church after 2 pm; there is no admission charge, and you will need to make your own way there if you have taken part in the 9.30 am Sunday tour.
